Anurag would like to kidnap Kangana Ranaut

Director AnuragKashyap talks about piracy, FIR made on the leakage of his film Udta Punjab, kidnapping Kangana, having a crush on Priyanka and still being friends with Kalki Koelchin.

Director Anurag Kashyap has proved this time that “Saach ke saath hai toh jeet humari hi hai," he laughs saying so. Updating about the FIR on the leakage of his film ‘Udta Punjab’ especially on mobile phones, the director gives an example and says, "Even before the film released my driver comes to me and happily says, 'Sir I like the film, UP is really an amazingly nice film.’ I instantly quiz him, "Where did you watch the film? Driver- On my Mobile phone.”

What I mean to say, “It is not him [driver] who has to be blamed but the root cause has to be found out. I know it is a censored copy, I would not blame anyone. But yes, I have registered an FIR .The investigation will be of its highest order."

So you blame Phalaj Nihalani? "I am not blaming anyone. Unless the fact is revealed. I always keep myself informed on everything and always look forward to solving the problem.”

Drifting from the censor topic we quiz Anuraag about the latest trend of filmmakers having a big star like Salman, Ajay, Akshay, Aamir and SRK pair up with a newcomer whether it does help in cost cutting? Pat comes a favorable reply from the outspoken Anuraag, ”Yes of course. It does help in cost cutting. Also, sometimes big heroines are busy and may not have dates available or sometimes they would like to do a female-oriented stuff, as they will have much more to do in comparison to a male-centric film. For example, Priyanka did Mary Kom and Vidya’s Kahaani also a Tanu weds Manu done by Kangana. It is always good to strike a balance of both big male and female actors owing to the demand of the story which permits the heroine also to have the same kind of a footage."

On a lighter note, we quiz which actress will Anurag like to kidnap? Laughs aloud and quips, "Precisely, Kangana.”

We could not resist and ask why Kangana? "Woh meri bahut achchi dost hai ![she is a very good friend of mine], we can sit together for hours and chit chat to our hearts content.” Anuraag also adds that he has a crush on Priyanka.

Well lastly, we quiz why is it that you have shared a long association with all male stars and not female actors? "I take the time to know people. Slowly and gradually after I know them fully well then, my association go a long way with them. About female actresses, he says, “Why I am sharing a long association with Richa Chaddha indeed.
What about Kalki, ”We are friends and I did congratulate her on receiving the National Award.” He concludes.
