Anu to play a village belle in Nani’s film

Anu Emmanuel might be just one film old as a heroine in Malayalam but the actress is already making rapid strides in Tollywood by juggling between two projects. Apparently, the US-based Malayali girl will be seen in the role of a village belle in Nani’s film directed by Virinchi Varma.

Giving a glimpse of her role, the child-artiste turned actress shares, “I will be seen as a shy village belle in the romantic entertainer. It’s a new experience working for me in this industry. Virinchi sir always puts up a bright smile and handles the proceedings.”

On working with Nani, she says, “He’s a super cool co-star and a wonderful human being too. In fact, I learned a lot from him and was inspired by his hard work and dedication. He was very helpful too and made things easy for me when I was nervous to face the camera initially.” - SA
