Khaidi No 150 first look gets a roaring response

Megastar Chiranjeevi, who turned 61 on Monday, was presented with a special teaser and a motion poster from the makers of ‘Khaidi No 150’ as a birthday gift. The 52-second teaser introduced Chiranjeevi as a conqueror of millions of hearts and the undisputed king of the Telugu film industry. On its concluding note, the video, like the motion poster, highlighted 'Boss is Back.’

Within minutes of its release, the #BossIsBack has trended on social media for a good part on Monday. Meanwhile, producer Ram Charan said Chiranjeevi’s complete look will be unveiled after Diwali. “The teaser is just a glimpse of dad’s style. We wanted to kick-start the promotion activities after Diwali but since fans wanted a teaser on his birthday, we had to oblige,” he pointed out at a presser in Hyderabad on Monday.

On his experience as a first time producer, he said, “I’m excited but it’s a big responsibility and I have to thank VV Vinayak for the way he has gone about making the film. He has completed one-and-a-half hour (footage) of the film and second half sequences, songs and an action block are pending.”

Can one expect him and other mega heroes like Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej and Varun Tej in cameos? “The family hasn’t given it a thought yet. Once we start shooting songs, maybe we can ponder over it,” he smiled and assured that the film is due for Sankranti. Also starring Kajal Aggarwal, Tarun Arora, Ali and Tanikella Bharani, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
