Actor Allari Naresh, who is in desperate need of a hit, will be starring in the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit ‘Oru Vadakan Selfie’. ‘Kevv Keka’ producer Bopanna Chandrasekhar bagged the remake rights of the 2015 hit for a fancy price. To be directed by Anish Krishna (of ‘Ala Ela’ fame), the remake will move on to floors in October. We hear it would be tailored to suit Telugu nativity.
In ‘Oru Vadakan Selfie’, helmed by debutant G Prajith, ‘Premam’ sensation Nivin Pauly played the role of Umesh, an engineering college dropout while Manjima Mohan essayed his neighbour Daisy. The plot is about problems that break out after a selfie.
