Our effort is to break the ongoing myth of the game being too financially demanding for a common man to take it up. It was an honor to work with Mr. Sohail Khan on Freaky Ali. A movie based on Golf in India was never thought of. I am indeed grateful to him for showcasing our passion on the silver screen. We hope that this movie will bring awareness in the public and make golf the next big sport in India”
Golfing Nation seeks to create an environment that allows young golfers to consider pursuing the sport professionally and to make golf a household sport in India. The company provides two kinds of services: facilitation services and management services. To this end, Golfing Nation has provided Bollywood Consultation Services for ‘Freaky Ali’ to ensure that the movie could depict the sport as accurately as possible.

Profile Golfing Nation
In the simplest of terms Golfing Nation is a one-stop shop for all things golf. Founded by Sidharth Arora, a 28-year old who has 12-years of golfing experience, the company is set to be launched on August 27, 2016 at a star-studded event following the World Long Drive Championship.
Golfing Nation seeks to create an environment that allows young golfers to consider pursuing the sport professionally through their lives; a privilege that the young founder believes was lacking in his time. The company provides two kinds of services: facilitation services and management services. Facilitation services offered primarily include being able to book courses, training sessions and timings at a vast variety of golf courses through an online portal. They also make training sessions with foreign coaches available online which is a service that has never been provided before. Additionally, they have a fully stocked online store on which one can buy and sell equipment making previously expensive golfing equipment available for lower prices to a wider range of people.
The management services provided by Golfing Nation allow golf courses across the country access to a professional team of golfing aficionados to manage their course. From upkeep to memberships the company provides a complete hands-on administrative package. They are already in advanced talks with several major golf courses that wish to avail this service.
The aim of the company, as suggested by its name, is to make golf a household sport in India and rid it of its reputation of being too time-consuming, too boring or too expensive. To this end they provide Bollywood Consultation Services and have already made waves in this area by consulting on an upcoming Bollywood film ‘Freaky Ali’. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and produced by Sohail Khan Production, this is the first Indian movie about golf ever made and is set to release on September 9, 2016. Golfing Nation took a major role in the consultation so as to ensure that the movie could depict the sport as accurately as possible. The team handled the entire golf screenplay, direction, training of the stars and tie-ups with various golfing courses & golf manufacturing companies. Mr. Arora even has an acting part in the film and feels that through mass media, the accessibility of the sport will increase and it will begin to seem less exclusive despite its waning popularity.
Sidharth Arora, Director, Golfing Nation
At the heart of it, Golfing Nation is about the combination of sport and country. Now that golf had been accepted into the Olympics as a sport, the founder feels that it is the right time to make it mainstream and capitalize on that opportunity. And that is the vision of Sidharth Arora. The young man became a golfer at the resilient age of eleven and then went on to study golfing
management at San Diego University. He has previously worked with and managed decorated golf courses like Noida Golf Course, Unitech Golf and Country Club. Sidharth believes that the golfing industry is still nascent and as a former golfer it is his responsibility to create the environment in which succeeding in golf is more than just a shot in hell.
