Lavanya pairs up with Naga Chaitanya

Lavanya Tripathi is having a dream run in Tollywood. With two hits—‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’— this year, the Dehradun actress is now set to romance Naga Chaitanya in his forthcoming film directed by Kalyan.

She liked the script and her part, which she felt was unique and interesting, and gave her verbal consent to star in the film. However, she is yet to sign on the dotted line.

“It is a romantic-comedy. Director Kalyan believed that Lavanya and Chay pairing will add a dash of pep to the project and make it look more appealing, before approaching the actress. She liked what she heard from Kalyan and given the production house that is steering the film (Suresh Productions), she is likely to say yes to the project,” informs a source.

It remains to be seen when the film will go on to sets.
