Pataas girl is lucky to be part of MEK

Actress Shruti Sodhi, who recently sizzled in an item number in ‘Supreme’, says she is lucky to be a part of comic caper ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu (MEK),’ starring Naveen Chandra. “I consider myself lucky to be a part of ‘MEK’. I play a rich girl and it’s a nice role. Director E Sattibabu has extracted good performance from me. His screenplay will be the major highlight,” said Shruti. She was speaking at the teaser launch of the film in Hyderabad recently.

Naveen Chandra said, “When producer KK Radhamohan approached me to do the project, I told him that I have done only romantic and action films till now but he insisted me to meet Sattibabu once. After the director narrated me the script, I’ve decided to sign the film.” Barring a song, which will be shot from Wednesday, the shooting of the film is over. The makers are planning to release it in the third week of this month.
