Being directed by Teja, the film is currently being shot in Karaikudi in Tamil Nadu, and it also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Navdeep. Although Catherine played a politician in her last Telugu outing ‘Sarrainodu’, her role in this film will be different.
"Teja has given her a very strong role unlike anything she has done before. This is exactly why she didn't mind playing a politician in back-to-back films," he said.
