Congress MP T Subbarami Reddy, who not long dropped hints of making a film with mega brothers Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, which would also mark his return to film production after decades, has just done what he had said. Hyderabad: This has to be the next biggest casting coup ever in Tollywood. Congress MP T Subbarami Reddy, who not long dropped hints of making a film with mega brothers Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, which would also mark his return to film production after decades, has just done what he had said. Yes, Chiru and Pawan would be sharing screen space together in his production venture.
When the industrialist and philanthropist announced that he would be bringing the mega brothers together in a movie while felicitating the big brother for ‘Khaidi No 150’ at an event recently in Hyderabad, little did one imagine that he was pretty serious about it!
“He met the mega brothers and persuaded them to make this rare combination happen. They nodded their head to the idea and are equally thrilled to do the movie,” read a statement on behalf of TSR.
The seriousness of TSR’s plan wasn’t limited to getting the nods of Chiru and Pawan alone.In fact, he even got the consent of wizard of words Trivikram to board the project as the director. “After watching Chiranjeevi in 'Khaidi No 150', I felt that I should return to movies production as well.
Then I felt that Trivikram is the best director to make this combination happen. Today (on Thursday) I met the director for the second time at my residence and finalised the movie,” TSR said and added that Vyjayanthi Movies chief C Aswini Dutt would partner with him for the project.
Given Chiru and Pawan’s commitments for the rest of the year, the project can only roll next year. But as long as it rolls, mega fans won’t have any complaints, right?
