Anil Sunkara never gifted me a villa: Raj Tarun

Raj Tarun, who is presently awaiting the release of ‘Kittu Unnadu Jagratha’, says the film’s producer Anil Sunkara never gifted him a villa to be a part of his projects. Last year, there were reports about the young actor signing a three-film deal with Sunkara and thereby getting a villa from him.

“I bought the villa with my own money. The only connection that Anil had was that they (the villas) were his and Dil Raju’s ventures. I’ve been waiting to acquire a property in Hyderabad for long and since I’ve associated with Sunkara and Dil Raju professionally, I managed to crack a good deal for myself.”

He continues, “As far as the three-film contract with Sunkara goes, it’s false. It’s just that I loved the script of ‘Andhagadu’ and decided to do it for his production house.”

The actor has rubbed shoulders with Arbaaz Khan in ‘Kittu Unnadu Jagratha’ and talking about it, he says, “Given his background, Arbaaz is down to earth and compassionate. Also, his sense of humour is mind-blowing.”
