However, in a marked departure from his usual self, the social media populace was pleasantly surprised to see a series of tweets from RGV in praise of legendary director K Vishwanath.
RGV was among the first to take to Twitter to congratulate K Vishwanath after news emerged that the latter had been selected for the prestigeous Dada Saheb Phalke Award. Commenting on Twitter, RGV said, “ Vishwanath garu, I have seen both your films and Dadasaheb’s films.
In my opinion, Dadasaheb should be given an award in your name.” Needless to say, his comments drew applause on the medium eulogizing his comments. In the same vein, RGV however once again made use of the occasion to take potshots at Bollywood filmmakers. - SA
