Shriya Saran to do item number in Nakshatram

Barring an item number, the shooting of Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Nakshatram’ is complete. After dilly-dallying over the choice of actress for the item number, Shriya Saran has been finalised for the same and the song will be shot towards the end of May.

Shriya’s last outing was as the female lead in the historic epic ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ opposite Balakrishna and she has also been signed on once again opposite Nandamuri star in another film being directed by Puri Jagannath.

Already, ‘Nakshatram’ boasts of an ensemble cast comprising Sundeep Kishan, Sai Dharam Tej, Pragya Jaiswal and Regina Cassandra. Now the presence of Shriya in the film is further expected to boost the market of the film.
