On composing music for ‘Fashion Designer’, sequel to 80’s blockbuster ‘Ladies Tailor’. “Composer Ilayaraja is like my guru and has composed soulful tunes for `Ladies.... Truly, I am honoured that Vamsi chose me for its sequel,’ he adds. Considering that Vamsi (Sr) is also a music composer, were there any specific inputs from him regarding the music for the film?

“That was the best part of it. I was given complete freedom by the producer (Madhura Sridhar) and Vamsi.
