Do you have any film background?
Yes, my father was a producer, director and my aunt Anitha Raj was a popular B-town actress. My grandfather Jagdish Raj was also an actor so I was like born and bought up in films. Since childhood I always wanted to be an actress.

How did you get a chance in Telugu film `Jayadev’?
Seasoned director Jayanth C.Paranjee wanted to make a Kannada film two years back with me, but due to some reasons that did not work out. When he was doing `Jayadev’, he chose me to play the female lead. I just grabbed the offer with both my hands.

How was it working in a Telugu film?
I truly enjoyed working in Tollywoo. Even though, initially I thought it will be difficult for me because I didn’t know the language and was apprehensive about it. But now I can understand Telugu completely and I’m very comfortable with the language and the people.

Tell us about your role in the film?
I played a character Shruthi in the film. She cares a damn about others and likes doing what she wants. But when Jayadev enters into her life her world changes and she begins to obey his orders.

About her co-star and debutant Ganta Ravi?
It’s a debut film for both of us. He is very hardworking person, down-to- earth and a sweetest person. I have learned a lot from him. We were helping each other while shooting. We became good friends over the time and it was great working with him.

What about your future projects?
As of now I have not signed any new film. Just waiting for the release of my debut film. May be after the release, I’ll get more offers. However, I heard a few scripts, but haven’t confirmed anything yet.
