Dasari Narayana Rao's final rites to be held in his farm house

Veteran filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao's funeral is set to take place at his farm house near Chevella, Moinabad in the evening.

His final journey began with the official police parade from his house in Jubilee hills, Hyderabad to Film Chamber hall for people to pay their last respects to the filmmaker. Thousands of people from the film industry and political leaders joined his final journey and paid their tributes to him.

Arrangements are being made for the funeral. Dasari Narayana Rao's wife Padma, who died a couple of years ago too had been cremated at the farm house and his cremation will take place beside her grave.

With the Telangana government ensuring that Dasari Narayana Rao get a funeral with full honours, police officials have taken over the site. Many celebrities inlcuding Kodi Ramakrishna, Balasubramanyam and Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao have arrived for the funeral.
