Story:

This movie follows the story of the original Ladies Tailor starring Rajendra Prasad, Archana, Deepa and Y. Vijaya.

Gopalam (Sumanth Ashwin) son of Ladies Tailor Sundaram lives with mother's brother, Paparao (Krishna Bhagavan) following the demise of his parents. Similar to the original, there is Gavarraju who tries to take care of his niece, Ammulu (Manali Rathod).

Gopalam, on the other hand dreams to open his own designer shop and uses every opportunity that comes his way to make the required money for his shop.

Due to some unexpected circumstances, he loses a deal and his friend takes him to palmist where Gopalam finds out that he has Manmadha Rekha, that enables him to attract any woman in minutes.

Hearing that, Gopalam plans to marry a rich girl and fulfill his dream. He flirts with three women - Gedela Rani (Manasa Himavarsha), Ammulu (Manali Rathod) and Maha Lakshmi (Anisha Ambrose). Whether he succeeds in opening up his shop is what the rest of the movie is about.

Performances:

Sumanth Ashwin doesn't match up to the calibre of Rajendra Prasad. While it is unfair to compare the two, when Rajendra Prasad had done the original, he was not an established actor by then. Manali Rathod too has a good role but doesn't live up to it and Manasa bagged the meatier role, however, the artist who dubbed for the actress puts off her performance as it fails to deliver the impact.

Apart from Krishna Bhagavan who makes his presence felt, the supporting cast are just about alright in their performances.

Analysis:

The locations where the movie has been shot are beautiful and the cinematography captures the locales perfectly. Nagesh Bannel has got it right. Coming to the music, Mani Sharma has done a good job syncing the songs with the story and screenplay. Even the background score is brilliant.

However, the movie falters particularly in terms of editing which is mediocre. Writer-Director Vamsy fails to impact the audience with his story and doesn't utilize the characters to its full extent.

Madhura Sreedhar's involvement in the story doesn't help the movie in anyway.

Verdict:

Not worth a watch!
