If everything goes right, popular actor Srikanth will be essaying the role of a dreaded villain in leading star Balakrishna’s 102nd film to be directed by K S Ravikumar. Surely, life has come a full circle for the talented actor as he played a few baddy roles before tasting success as a hero with love story `Taj Mahal’ in 1995 and didn’t look back ever since.

The actor completed 100-odd films which include blockbusters like `Vinodam,’, `Pellisandadi’ , `Preyasi Rave’, `Khadgam’ and `Shankardada MBBS’ and carved a niche for himself as a lover boy, dutiful husband and fearless cop besides showcasing his flair for comedy as well. With Gen X stars raising in T-town horizon, the handsome actor began to play a kin to Ram Charan in `Govindudu Andharivadele’ and Allu Arjun in `Sarrainodu’.

“Srikanth is very popular actor and has become a house-hold name among Telugu viewers,” says a source close to the unit and adds “Srikanth will be essaying the role of a dreaded villain opposite Nandamuri star Balakrishna in his 102nd film and set to take on the mighty star on screen with a well-defined baddy role and send shivers down the spine of viewers,” he adds.

He will be joined by popular baddies Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu to give a strong opposition to Balakrishna in the action extravanganza. We all know how hero-turned-villain Jagapathi Babu became a sought-after baddy post-‘Legend’. May be, Srikanth has observed it and didn’t mind taking up the role to showcase his dark side once again after a long gap.
