New age actor Sundeep Kishan is praised his co-star Tammanah in his upcoming Telugu-Tamil untitled being helmed by B-town director Kunal Kohli. He is also equally exciting about his maiden multi-starrer `Samanthakamani’ which is slated for release soon. In a freewheeling chat with Hans Talkies, he talks about his career and life.

What’s your role in Samanthakamani?
I play a boy called Kotipalli Shiva who runs a theatre group in a village and also a dejected lover. Nevertheless, my role is entertaining as his innocence tickles the laughing bones of the viewers.

Do you have love interest in the film?
Of course, I have two heroines-one is new girl Ananya( Ms Australia) and Jenny is a Telugu girl from small screen.

You will be seen in the lungi?
It’s true. I play a massy character, so you will see me in a lungi once or twice in the film.

How was it working with ace director Krishna Vamsi in ‘Nakshatram’?
It has been two years long journey with him and I learnt a lot from him. Earlier, I used to get irritated even for smaller things, but now I have matured enough and even my mood swings have reduced. In fact, I changed as a person after working with him.

How was it working with glam diva Tammanah?
Although, she worked in a number of films, I knew her well as we are in the same industry. We are friendly since we are from the same age group. Truly, a fab actress to work with.

You are working with B-town director Kunal Kohli for the first time?
B-town director Kunal Kohli wanted to make a romcom in Tamil and Telugu and approached me for the same. As I liked the script, I gave my nod and it takes entertainment to the next level.

You seem to have signed a good number of films?
That’s right. I have signed five different films. Besides Kunal Kohli film, I have films with by Goutham Menon and Manjula and others.

Why most of T-town stars have restricted themselves to promote their movies on twitter?
It’s good that they are promoting their movies from its launch till the release. But a few are misusing it. Anyway it’s their freedom at the end of the day.
