He added: "In the film these are characters with spirits, and souls, and hearts, and minds with something very, very real at stake for all of them." "These things that you use in your life all the time have a personality, something to lose, and real friendships. That felt very fun to me," he added.
"The Emoji Movie" is written and directed by Tony Leondis and co-written by Eric Siegel and Mike White. The movie is based on the ideograms of the same name. Corden is playing the character of the Hi-5 emoji in the movie.
