Charmi on Drug Case: My image is being damaged
Actress Charmi Kaur, who is being investigated along with several other Tollywood actors in a massive drug racket busted earlier this month, has appealed to the Hyderabad High Court asking for her lawyer to be present during the questioning by investigators on Wednesday.

Speaking on the same, Charmi said that her name getting linked to the drugs case is damaging her image not just as an actor but also as a young, unmarried woman.
Questioning the legality of samples of her blood, nails and hair being collected to check for traces of drugs, the actress' number was allegedly found on the contact list on a mobile phone seized from Calvin Mascarenhas, who is the kingpin of the drug racket.
Till now, Director Puri Jagannath, cinematographer Sham K Naidu, actors Subbaraju, Tarun and Navdeep have been questioned in the case, but they have denied any links with drug peddlers.
