Super Star Mahesh Babu\'s Spyder is all set to create new record after Prabhas\' Baahubali-The Conclusion in terms of pre-release business among Telugu movies.
Super Star Mahesh Babu's Spyder is all set to create new record after Prabhas' Baahubali-The Conclusion in terms of pre-release business among Telugu movies.
Sources informed that the makers of the movie have not sold off the movie rights in all territories of Andhra Pradesh. But they are confident that Spyder closing business would take up to Rs.90 Cr for the Telugu Version.
Mahesh Babu's Spyder Theatrical distribution rights for Tamil version has been bagged by Lyca Productions for fancy price Rs.23 Cr. The movie’s satellite rights (Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam) were closed for record Rs 26 Cr.
Spyder Theatrical rights of Hindi and Malayalam are likely to collect another Rs.25 Cr. So, the producers can make Rs 170 Cr pre-release business from theatrical rights, digital rights, and satellite rights.
Except “Baahubali 2”, no Telugu film did such business so far. However, Mahesh Babu's Spyder is going to set another new record at the Tollywood box office.
Spyder movie is a lavish budget film made with Rs.120 Cr and the makers of the movie may enjoy a minimum of Rs.50 to 60 Cr profit even before movie release into theaters.
