Los Angeles: Actor Warwick Davis has been cast in the upcoming Han Solo stand-alone film. Ron Howard revealed the news on Twitter, saying he'd be directing his "Willow" star for the first time in more than 30 years.

One of the original actors from the Star Wars trilogy, prequels and new films, Davis, will appear as an unspecified character. Davis, 47, first entered the epic space opera film franchise in 1983 when he played Ewok Wicket in "Return of the Jedi".

He went on to appear as various characters in "The Phantom Menace", "The Force Awakens", "Rogue One" and will also be seen in "The Last Jedi".
