Young actor Kalyan Ram is planning to remake the Malayalam hit film \'Rama Leela\' in Telugu since it has enough potential to rock the box office. Tainted Malayalam superstar Dileep essayed the role of a politician in this political potboiler.

"It is a political thriller and Kalyan Ram evinced keen interest to do the remake. He has screened the film to a couple of writers and directors to gauge their response," says a source, close to the actor. The scion of Nandamuri family is busy shooting for his upcoming film 'MLA' and wants to do a film with political backdrop to revive his winning habit.
"The larger-than-life role aptly fits Kalyan and he is determined to commence shooting for this film from early next year," the source adds. Maybe, the success of the political saga 'Nene Raju Nene Mantri' has prompted Kalyan to attempt a bold film.
