Mohanlal returns with a war-centric movie

Ace Malayalam actor Mohanlal who was also seen in straight Telugu films like 'Manamantha,' and 'Janatha Garage,' is returning with '1971 Beyond Borders,' which is being dubbed into Telugu as 'Yuddha Bhoomi'.

"Major Ravi is an excellent director. His experience in army enabled him to make ten movies with the war backdrop. He made five films with me and 'Yuddha Bhoomi' also belongs to the same genre," said Mohanlal, after releasing the trailer in Kerala, a few days ago.

"This war-centric film gave complete satisfaction to me as an actor. Even Telugu actor Allu Sirish did a fairly good job. I hope the gripping entertainer will run well in the two Telugu states," added Mohan Lal. Producer Balaji adds "Mohan Lal is showing keen interest to get the Telugu dubbing rights.

The Malayalam superstar will be attending the pre-release function in Hyderabad since he is very popular among the Telugu viewers," adds Balaji. Actually, Mohan Lal's last dubbed film 'Manyam Puli' set the box office on fire. Will his next be another blockbuster? That remains to be seen.
