Kranti Madhav to turn producer?

Undoubtedly, young director Kranthi Madhav is one of tasteful filmmakers in T-town. Now, he is all set to turn producer with his next to make more meaningful films. The director arrived with ‘Onamalu’ and followed it up with a heart-rending romantic saga ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’. Even though, his last release ‘Ungaraala Rambabu’ bombed at the box office, but respect for the filmmaker hasn’t diminished.

“It is true that Kranthi Madhavi is planning to turn producer to make more thought-provoking films without compromising on quality and budget,” says an industry source. Right now, the director is all set to shoot with teen sensation Vijay Devarakonda for producer K S Rama Rao and it is touted to be one of the much-awaited films in 2018. ‘The director wants to have more creative freedom and likes to make movies of his choice which would draw critical as well as commercial success.

It is difficult to blend commerce and creative juices, but he is determined to prove that it is possible,” the source adds. After seasoned directors like Puri Jagannath, Krish, Krishna Vamsi and Gunasekar, another director wants to don the producer’s cap to stay ahead of his peers and dish out cult movies.
