There are several music directors who ventured into acting in South. After GV Prakash Kumar turning a solo hero, here comes the popular music director Gopi Sunder making his solo hero debut with an upcoming Malayalam movie Toll Gate. The film is written and directed by Harikrishnan.
Touted to be a road movie based on a real-life man missing case, the popular music director will be presented in a different look for the film. The film also stars Shamna Kasim, Sujith Shankar, Rahul Madhav and Harikrishnan S in the prominent roles. Gopi Sunder is also composing the music for the film.
Jithu Damodar is handling the cinematography while the film is produced by Hazeena Salam under the banner of Eyya Productions.
On the works front in Tollywood, Gopi Sunder recently scored a hit with Inkem Kavale song from the film Geetha Govindam.
