Like his brother and reigning star Allu Arjun, young actor Allu Sirish seems to be willing to add and reduce weight to fit into roles. The ‘Okka Kshanam’ actor has reportedly cut four to five kgs to reprise the role of talented actor Dulquer Salmaan in the Telugu remake of ‘ABCD’.

“Allu Sirish wanted to get into shape. When he got this opportunity to reprise the role of Dulquer, he followed a strict workout regimen and diet and lost almost five kilos in three months,” says a source, close the unit. “Even performance-wise he is at ease in doing light-hearted and emotive scenes and bound to deliver one of the best performance in his career,” he adds. In fact, to focus more on the Malayalam remake, ‘Kotha Janta’ actor even walked out of a big ticket Tamil film with Surya citing the reason-clash of dates.

“Sirish is completely besotted with the character and also doing some homework to showcase various shades in the well-defined role,” the source points out. In recent times, very few actors have given up big projects to focus on one film and Sirish has surely scored some brownie points.
