Ace actor Kamal Haasan claimed that ‘Vishwaroopam’2 took one year for post-production work since it boasts of high technical values. “The film demanded special effects and my crew worked really hard to come up with a quality film” said the actor, at the audio release function of his upcoming film ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
“We have no plans to make ‘Vishwaroopam 3’ since we restricted our screenplay to just two parts,” he adds. The actor claims that he is indebted to film viewers for bestowing him with fame, money and position. “I received lot of support, encouragement from Telugu viewers and I could some of the best films Telugu,” he points out.
On the four-year delay for the ‘Vishwaroopam sequel, he adds, “Thanks people are still remembering our first film. Honestly, ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ got delayed due to some political reasons. Although, the shooting part was completed four years ago, the film got delayed due to post production work as well since we wanted to dish out a technically-polished film and it took nearly one year. Nevertheless, the film shaped up well and hoping that audience will like it,” he reasons.
Talking about his political avatar, he adds, “I had my share of good times and I was recognised as a good actor. I may not spare more time for movies because my priorities have changed. As an Indian, I wanted to do something for the society and jumped into the political arena.” he opines.
