Venky, Dulquer to team up for a war epic

Seasoned star Venkatesh, who has been hailed as a multi-starrer specialist, will be sharing screen space with crazy Malayalam star Dulquer in his upcoming film to begin next year. “It is true that Venkatesh has given his nod to share screen space with the talented Dulquer Salmaan, who made waves with ‘Mahanati.’ Both the actors met a couple of times and discussed about the script and share a good bonding,” says a source, close to the actor.

They have decided to come together since it is not a usual commercial or social drama, rather an intense story on a war epic set in a period. “It is too early to divulge the details, but it would be a film against a war backdrop,” the source cuts short. No doubt, Venkatesh has become the most sought-after star for multi-hero movies these days. After sharing screen space with Mahesh Babu (‘Seethamma Vakitlo...’), Pawan Kalyan (‘Gopala Gopala’) and now, working with new generation star Varun Tej in ‘F2’.

The ‘Guru’ star will be joining hands with a Malayalam star who is quite popular in Telugu too. “It will be directed by a new Telugu director and bankrolled by a big production house,” the source concludes. Needless to say, it will be one of the much-awaited films in 2019.
