There are talks that he would direct his son Akash Puri in his next as he announced the same during the promotions of Mehbooba but at the same time, a rumor in the industry reveals that Puri will introduce a new director with the project and will focus on production.
On the other side, Puri Jagannadh is said to have registered an interesting title ‘Vasco Da Gama’ with the film chamber recently. With the speculations that he might direct Vijay Devarakonda, it is still unclear if Akash will play the lead role in the film or any other hero.
