Happy to be compared with RX 100, says Natakam director

The pre-release function of ‘Natakam’ was held in Hyderabad on Thursday. The film, made with village as the backdrop and Ashish Gandhi and Ashima Narwal in the lead roles is being helmed by director Kalyan G Gogina. Speaking to the media on the occasion, director Kalyan G Gogina said that he was very proud that his directorial venture ‘Natakam’ was compared to great films like ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘RX 100’ after watching its trailer.

In his speech, producer Rizwan thanked everybody, especially the media for coming forward and supporting ‘Natakam.’ Expressing hope that the film would be liked by all sections of the audience, he said that Sai Karthick gave an excellent background score and the songs were heart rending.

Another producer Khushi thanked hero Sudhir Babu for his support from the beginning. She said that she was confident that the film would turn out to be a blockbuster. ‘Natakam’ would be released in more than 300 theatres, she added. Hero Karthikeya said that he was happy that ‘Natakam’ was being compared to his film ‘RX 100’ and expressed the hope that it would do better than ‘RX 100.’ State BJP president K Laxman Rao and others were present on the occasion.
