Actor and director Ravi Babu is well known for his unusual and quirky movies. After facing a debacle with horror film 'Avunu 2', Ravi Babu is going to mark his comeback after 3 years with a different concept film. The promotional material of his experimental movie, 'Adhugo' has created a positive buzz among the audience. The movie has grabbed the attention because of the hero of the film, Bunty (Piglet). Abhishek Varma and Nabha Natesh played vital roles in the film. In fact, this movie was supposed to be the debut of Nabha but her 'Nannu Dochukunduvate' got released. With the cute piglet as the hero and VFX as the backbone, the movie has finally hit the theatres today on November 7th. Here is the review of the movie.

Story:
Two criminal gangs who are involved in animal racing, find Bunty (a piglet) and decides that Bunty will be suitable for them. But, two other big mafia gangs are also in search for the same piglet. Why the mafia gangs are in search of Bunty? Did these four gangs collide with each other? Did Bunty go back to his owners safely? Forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
The piglet has been a major highlight in the film. The adorable piglet is soo cute to watch on silver screens. Abhishek Varma did a good job. He performed moderately well. His facial expressions and dialogue delivery are average and he still needs to improve a lot in terms of acting. Nabha Natesh is looking beautiful in the movie. Though it is her debut, she acted really well. She is perfect for her role and she steals the attention with her striking beauty. Ravi Babu played a cameo in the film and performed really well. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.

Technical Aspects:
The visual effects played a crucial role for sure. The graphics team have worked really hard for the film and it is evident in each and every frame. The production values of Suresh Productions and Flying Frog are lavish. They invested big amounts for graphics works. Screenplay by Satyanand is impressive. Cinematography by N Satyanand is superb. His camera work also worked out well for this film. The editing could have been better. The runtime is crisp.

Verdict:
Ravi Babu has come up with a different concept. We have never seen an animal being the hero of the film in Tollywood. He penned an action story which revolves around the piglet. Not only the story, but Ravi Babu did a great job in executing the script as well. His slow paced narration irks the audience at times but the piglet covers it up. One of the major elements 'Adhugo' promised was the comedy but the movie failed to make the audience laugh. The first half is boring and doesn't have an interesting premise.
Director Ravibabu is known for delivering comedy films but failed to generate any humor. The movie unit boasted about animation, but in reality, they used animation for only 10-15 minute. The second half is as boring as the first half. The movie failed to entertain the audience despite all the animation, VFX etc. The movie will test our patience levels for sure. The quality of animation is the only good thing in the film. 'Adhugo' is a failed attempt and can be skipped.
