Akshay Kumar once again proved the point that he is one of the most bankable superstars in the Bollywood. Beating all records at the box-office, 2.0 has raced towards the 500 crore mark and now heading for a mega release in China.

Dharma productions Head honcho Karan Johar just took to his social media profile and shared the news. He tweeted, “CREATING HISTORY! #2Point0 continues its stride as a mega blockbuster, collects 500cr worldwide! @rajinikanth @akshaykumar @iamAmyJackson @shankarshanmugh @apoorvamehta18 @LycaProductions @DharmaMovies @divomovies”

South superstar Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson starrer 2.0 is helmed by Shankar, the film has been winning hearts across the globe. The Hindi version of 2.0 has been making waves with its special effects, VFX and incredible story line.

The film has in fact overtaken Baahubali: The Beginning's Hindi version's lifetime business. There's only another benchmark to overtake - Baahubali: The Conclusion's Hindi edition.

Now the film is all geared up for China release. The official handle of Lyca Productions confirmed the news on social media. It said, “The Next Major Milestone for Team #2Point0...MEGA Release In CHINA.. #2Point0InChina #2Point0MegaBlockbuster @rajinikanth @akshaykumar @shankarshanmugh @arrahman @iamAmyJackson”

The film also stars Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and K. Ganesh in supporting roles. The film follows the conflict between Chitti, the once dismantled android, and Pakshirajan, an ornithologist who seeks vengeance on smartphone users to prevent avian population decline.

The soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman, with lyrics written by Madhan Karky and Na. Muthukumar.
