Shreya Dhanwanthary gearing up for the release of 'Why Cheat India' says, any start is a good start but the film 'Why Cheat India' has been a killer opportunity for her.

Shreya Dhanwanthary debuting with 'Why Cheat India' interacted with media at a promotional event.

When asked about debuting with the Emraan Hashmi starrer, she said, "Any start is a good start. And as a newcomer, you don't really have that many choices. Plus you can always learn on the job and any opportunity is a stepping stone for the next one. Having said that, 'Why Cheat India' has been a killer opportunity.

It is an Emraan Hashmi film, songs are amazing. And for all the stereotypes in films, this one has the good ones and not the bad ones. His roles is also a bit surprising and he is playing a never before seen avatar. So I am very excited."

Shreya has been seen on the small screen in web series like 2016's Ladies Room, 2018's The Reunion. She will also be seen in a Web Series titled, 'The Family Man' in 2019.

Talking about her character and if it has an impact on the story, Shreya said she is going to be a very entertaining package in the film. My character's name is Nupur. She is an art student who comes from a lower middle-class income family. When she meets Imran's character she is completely unaware of the entire racket he is running. As for the character's impact on the story, it is not someone who is just in the film.

The makers have intentionally kept me out of the light and minimized my part in the trailer because of how Nupur influences the story. Be to be found out when the film hit the theaters."

Directed by Soumik Sen, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Emraan Hashmi

'Why Cheat India' is slated to release on 18th Jan 2019.
