Victory Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej starrer 'F2: Fun and Frustration' hit the screens amid high expectations on January 12th and movie has been doing exceptionally well at the box office.
The movie opened with a thumping response from the audience and has kept the collections ringing at the box office in the first week. The movie is continuing its dream run in the second week as well. It seems like the movie is scoring big not only in the Telugu States but also in overseas as well. As per the reports, 'F2' has finally surpassed the $1.5 million mark in the USA on Saturday. The collections were $122k on the second Friday and 'F2' joined the $1.5 million dollar club on Saturday. Becoming the 23rd Tollywood movie to pull of this feat, 'F2' became the highest grosser for both director Anil Ravipudi and Venkatesh.
Interestingly at the time of 'F2' release, three big movies were already in the theatres. But this full-length comedy entertainer succeeded in giving them a tough competition and emerging as the winner for Sankranthi at the box office.
