Ranveer Singh gearing up for, 'Gully Boy' release says the youth have their own voice and they will change the game.

Ranveer and Alia pumped their fans for the film release, with performances and punchlines at the music launch of 'Gully Boy' on Thursday. Co-actors Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Kalki Koechlin also performed at the event along with film’s director Zoya Akhtar.

Ranveer while addressing the crowd talked about the music of the film and said it will change hip-hop in India.“It’s the revolution in Indian hip-hop. It’s the voice of the streets. We are young people of our country and we have our own voice and if we have a voice then, we should express ourselves and walk in forward direction. It’s a big and historical day for hip-hop and after this day, this scene is going to blow up and we are going to change the game.”

Ranveer Singh seen in a neon Green tracksuit performed to the recently released of ‘Gully Boy’ of ‘Apna Time Ayega’, ‘Mere Gully Mein’, ‘Asli Hip Hop’ at the music launch. While the Gully Boy soundtrack features 18 songs in all.

Well known rappers like Divine, Naezy, Kaam Bhari, Spitfire and Rahul Raahi who are also part of the soundtrack also performed their bit in front of huge crowd.

Gully Boy tells the story of an aspiring rapper from a ghetto in Mumbai and his journey from realizing his love for rap to chasing his dream, and to inadvertently transcending his class.

Gully Boy that has Alia Bhatt playing the female lead opposite Ranveer, also stars Kalki Koechlin, Vijay Raaz and Siddhant Chaturvedi in significant roles.

The film, jointly produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, is slated to hit the screens on February 14 on the Valentine’s Day.
