Nani to woo Wink sensation?

If everything goes right, reigning star Nani will be romancing ‘Wink’ girl-Priya Warrier- in his upcoming film with director Vikram Kumar. “She is one of the hot contenders for the well-defined role, but nothing is fixed yet,” says a source, close to the unit. Actually, Telugu filmmakers have been trying to rope in Priya Warrier who became an overnight sensation on social media after her ‘wink’ video created ripples last year.

“Priya has been waiting for a right kind of role to make her T-town debut, but was bound by a contract. Now she is raring to go in Telugu as she loves Telugu movies a lot. She will surely begin her T-town stint in right earnest,” the source adds. In fact, her popularity among Telugu film fraternity was quite evident, when none-other-than stylish star Allu Arjun graced the function of Priya’s dubbed movie ‘Lovers Day’ few days go and appreciated the young girl.

Nonetheless, the diva will soon join the list of Mallu actresses like Keerthy Suresh, Nivedha Thomas and Anupama Parameswaran who are making waves in T-town. “Mallu actresses are roped in for performance-oriented roles and Priya has bright prospects” the source concludes.
