Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, who is a close friend of producer Ekta Kapoor has said that she is going to be a wonderful mother.

Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari was interacting with media at Ekta Kapoor’s newly born baby’s naming ceremony on Tuesday in Mumbai.

Ekta Kapoor recently became a mother via surrogacy to a baby boy, who she named Ravie Kapoor. Talking about it, Tiwari said “The day, I came to know about this news, I wished her (Ekta Kapoor) by saying that ‘welcome to mother’s club’. I am very happy for her. I think she is going to be a wonderful mother. I think she is going to be an amazing parent.”

When asked Tiwari whether she liked Ekta Kapoor’s baby name which is named after Ekta’s father’s original name, she said, “It’s really good name and its talks about rising sun so that’s beautiful.”

Jeetendra, his wife Shobha Kapoor, Tusshar and son Laksshya were also present for the occasion, apart from close friend Karan Johar, who came along with his mother Hiroo Johar. Karan also had twins—Roohi and Yash—via surrogacy in 2017.

Wishing new born baby, Sakshi Tanwar, said, “I wish him lots of love and blessings and happiness of entire world.”

Wishing new born baby, Mouni Roy said, “All my love and blessing to the new one.”

When asked Mouni whether she liked Ekta’s new baby’s name Ravie, she said, “It’s very relevant. I am sure she (Ekta Kapoor) has chosen this name with so much love.”

Wishing Ekta Kapoor on new arrival in her family, Shamita said, “I am very happy for Ekta. As a friend, I am here to join her celebration.”

When asked Mouni whether she liked Ekta’s new baby’s name Ravie, Shamita said, “It’s really good name and it’s her father’s name. It’s beautiful gesture from her side to keep her father in her heart for the entire life.”
