Mahesh Babu finalizes the cast of his production venture

After venturing into film production and multiplex business, Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to enter the digital space as well. He is planning to produce some web series under his banner MB Productions. First, he will be starting off with a series titled Charlie, which will be directed by Hussain Sha Kiran.

Since the beginning, there was a talk that Mahesh would launch any of his family members with this series. But, looks like he is set to cast in his brother in law Sudheer Babu as the lead in the series. Sudheer is yet to hear the script and once he okays it, the project will go on floors.

Currently, Sudheer is busy with shuttler Pullela Gopichand's biopic. Meanwhile, Charlie would feature eight episodes in total. Each episode will be of one hour approximately. The makers are planning to sell it to any of the major OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon or Zee 5.
