Ali clocks 40 years as actor

Star comedian Ali has completed 40 years in the Telugu film industry as an actor and would be felicitated by AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at a function to be organised by NGO ‘Sangamam’ on February 23 at Vijayawada. He began his career as a child artiste with ‘President Peremma’ in 1979 and in 2019 completes forty years an actor. “Ali is a special talent and we will felicitate him at a grand function amidst top dignitaries,’ says organizer Sanjay Kishore

Actually, Ali also played a hero in films like ‘Yamaleela’ and ‘Pittala Dhora’ but returned to comedy roles and never looked back ever since. Even today, he is most-sought-after comedian in T-town.

After working with the likes Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh and Ravi Teja, he is now sharing screen space with new-age stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun to keep himself ahead of his peers.

Along with Brahmanandam, he is only comedian who has stood the test of times and competition from new bunch of comedians to do four to five films every year. No mean achievement. Indeed!
