​​Akshay Kumar Drops Ajj Singh Garjega from Kesari

Here comes the “Singh” Anthem from the forthcoming epic historical drama Kesari, the song is titled Ajj Singh Garjega and it is been crooned by Jazzy B and Akshay Kumar.

Superstar Akshay Kumar dropped the new single on his social media profile. Titled Ajj Singh Garjega, the song has been penned by Kunwar Juneja, composed by Chirrantan Bhatt and rendered by Jazzy B. Actor Akshay has also lent his voice to a few lines of the patriotic number.

Kesari narrates the tale of Havildar Ishar Singh (played by Akshay) who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi, a war fought between an army of 21 Sikhs and 10,000 Afghans in 1897, while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.

The war happened on September 12, 1897, and is considered by historians as one of the last greatest battles fought.

The period drama has been produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and the film will hit the theatres on March 21.
