Yadadri project by next Dasara
The work on Yadadri temple, the abode of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, has gained momentum following the approval of final blueprint of Yadadri temple by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

The Yadadri Temple Development Authority (YTDA) is keen to complete the prestigious project by next Dasara after laying the foundation stone for the rajagopuram and other mandapams of the mega temple complex on Tuesday.
Black granite is being extensively used in the construction of the temple complex in accordance with the suggestion of Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. The YTDA is procuring black granite for the temple from Gurijepalli in Prakasam district.
Stone structures for the temple are being readied at four places simultaneously to ensure the completion of the mega project as scheduled. Eminent architect Ananda Sai and sculptor Sunder Rajan are supervising the work. About 35 skilled sculptors have been specially brought from Tamil Nadu to give final touches to pillars and others rocks to be grounded on the day of foundation- laying ceremony.
Speaking to The Hans India, YTDA Vice-Chairman Kishan Rao said: ``Foundation stones for the rajagopuram, mandapams and prakarams of the temple complex will be laid at 8:47 am on Dasara. Elaborate arrangements have been made to meet the devotee rush on the festival day.
The temple complex will come up on 3.9 acres with all pilgrim amenities. The sanctum sanctorum of the temple will not be touched during the execution of the massive development plan. A road will be specially laid for ‘giri pradakshina’. Yadadri temple will be on a par with the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, the abode of Lord Venkateswara, after completion of the development project.’’
Giving details of temple works, he said: ``About 500 sculptors are engaged in sculpturing the temple pillars, sculptures and other structures. The temple sculptures are being readied at Gurajala (Guntur district), Allagadda (Kurnool), Kammavaripalem (Prakasam) and Koheda (Ranga Reddy). Sculptors are working overtime to give shape to hard rocks. The temple complex will be built strictly in accordance with Agama Shastra.’’
