Ramesh, 48, working in a coconut shop, had kidnapped her and kept her in his house. He told his neighbours that she was the daughter of his relatives. He repeatedly raped her for the last one week. After returning home, the girl told her parents the facts. The parents lodged a complaint with the police who arrested him and filed a criminal case under Nirbhaya Act. Tirumalagiri CI Pardha Sarathi said that the girl was sent to the Suryapet government hospital for medical tests.
