Two youth arrested for murder of scrap dealer

Hyderabad: Trimulgherry police on Saturday arrested two youth for allegedly lynching a 50-year-old man to death with axes in Luthkunta on Saturday evening.

The accused Sanjay, an ex-convict, and Kiran, an electrician, were detained for their alleged involvement in the brutal murder of Madan, said Trimulgherry Inspector P Ravi Kiran.

Police registered a case under Section 302 (Homicide) of the Indian Penal Code and took up the investigation. The body was later shifted to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. Sanjay and Kiran reportedly confessed to have killed Madan. They bore a grudge against him as they suspected his role in the murder of their friend Sai Kiran from Alwal on October 14. Madan’s son Yugandar was arrested and convicted for killing Sai Kiran. The accused had been absconding after the incident. He returned a few days back.

Yugandar and his accomplices frequently used to engage in quarrels with Sai Kiran and his friends for establishing their domination in the vicinity.

With assistance from his friends, Yugandar allegedly eliminated Sai Kiran.
