Warangal: In a shocking incident, an eight-year girl was allegedly molested by three boys aged 11 at Nekkonda, a mandal headquarter, in the district. Although the incident occurred on November 15, it came to light only on Saturday.
The girl, of the BC colony in Nekkonda, was allegedly taken to a nearby deserted place by the boys, who also reside in the colony. While one allegedly undressed and molested her, two others recorded the incident on his mobile phone. The incident came to light after the boys exchanged the MMS. Their parents during a routine inspection of the mobile phones spotted the sleazy video, quarreled coming to blows. They approached the police on Friday and explained the unsavory incident.
The police were in a dilemma whether to register a case or counsel the parents, along with the minors. They raided internet centers in Nekkonda and barred entry of minor boys or girls to them. The police sternly warned the centers’ managements to tow the line, or face action.
