Death knells rang before wedding bells

Langar house: Just a few hours before his engagement, a youth was killed in Hyderabad. The culprits involved in the incident had informed the police of this incident before they ran away after killing the young man. The local police are of the opinion that the migration of the victim from one party to the other might be the reason behind the murder. According to Asifnagar ACP Vinod, Awais hailing from Mallepalli has been working as a gym trainer at Anwar-al-um College. On Monday night he got a call from someone and was asked to meet him at Shaw Gaus hotel in Nanal Nagar.

Awais reached the hotel along with his elder brother Asif by midnight 2’0 clock. A few people who were already waiting for him involved in an argument with Awais and later stabbed him to death. With this sudden incident Asif became shocked and somehow with the help of a few others took Awais to a nearby hospital but to no avail, as Awais was brought dead to the hospital. It is learnt that Awais was supposed to get engaged to a girl of Bazarghat area on Tuesday. All their relatives, who were otherwise involved in the celebrations, got shocked with the news. Postmortem for Awais’s dead body was carried out at Osmania hospital and was later sent to his home. The Nampally police has become alert as there is a likely untoward aftermaths of this incident.
