Karachi: Masked men broken into the house of a senior pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq and robbed him at gun point of his valuables at his home in Lahore. The booty included his passport, gold and cash.

Razzaq said that the robbers had entered his home through the washroom window and took away the locker from a room, which had his passport, around 38 ounces of gold and 8,000 dollars and 2,500 pounds.

"The matter has been reported to the police but it was a traumatic experience for me and my family members as the robbers tied us up while they robbed the valuables," he said. However the police said they suspected the thieves had prior information.

Razzaq, 33, was recalled to the national side for the Twenty20 series against South Africa in the UAE after one year on the sidelines but had to return home from the tour to South Africa because of a hamstring injury.
Two days ago, pace bowler Wahab Riaz was booked for violating a civil law. Police raided his home in Lahore while he was having a Milad ceremony ahead of his marriage on November 30.

The pacer was booked for violating the 'one dish' law and for having the function into late hours.

"I think it was a misunderstanding as we did not violate any law since it was a private function and secondly we are thinking about taking some legal action," Riaz said.
