One Arrested For Manhandling . A criminal case was registered against a resident of Veenapani Nagar, Malkajgiri, for manhandling Hemanth Kumar, contractor, HMWS&SB, while he was disconnecting a water pipeline.
A criminal case was registered against a resident of Veenapani Nagar, Malkajgiri, for manhandling Hemanth Kumar, contractor, HMWS&SB, while he was disconnecting a water pipeline.
The owner did not pay arrears of Rs 37,604.53, despite receiving red notices and several reminders for the past 12 years. They also didn’t come forward to settle the water cess arrears.
On Friday, the contractor was badly beaten up by Ram Chander Rao and Venkata Ramana. The Malkajgiri Police Station registered a criminal case against the owners and arrested the accused. They would be sent to judicial remand on Monday.
