Karimnagar: Crucial evidence in the Choppadandi SBI branch robbery has been secured, according to Superintendent of Police Shivakumar. He released the CCTV footage, which helped police identify the offenders, to the media here on Monday.
The SP said they suspected the involvement of a north Indian professional gang. Seven police teams have been constituted to nab the culprits. He appealed to people to provide any information they had with regard to the robbery or identification.
An amount of Rs.40 lakh was robbed from the bank on Saturday morning after the staff members were threatened at gun-point.
