Nandigama: Of late, an incident of teachers branding two children has come into lighton Wednesday. In this shocking incident, teachers allegedly branded two girl students of Class I and Class II, respectively with a hot iron rod for reportedly stealing Rs.10 from the bag of another student in their hostel room. This incident took place at Bishop Joseph Thambi School at Keesara village in Kanchikacherla mandal of Krishna district on Monday night.
This incident got the focus when the father of the two girls - Dwaraka and Tejaswini, Gunji Rama Rao made a complaint with the police. He claimed in his complaint that the teachers branded his two daughters despite the fact that they showed their purity. He even mentioned that the teachers also warned others of similar castigation if they resorted to such dishonorable acts in the hostel.
After sustaining the injuries, the duo suffered a heavy fever. Their father was called by the hostel warden to take them for treatment. It was during this time, he came to know of this incident.
